Hurray!!! Finally SUG Is Back

                             

On Friday, the 31st January, 2014, the University of Nigeria released a time table for the 2013/2014 Students' Union Government Election on the school's website. After about four years of silence and we studying in fear, we finally have a chance to voice our minds again. Indeed, the Lions in us will ROAR without any boundary or limitations. See the time table after the cut. Collection and submission of nomination paper starts on the Monday, 17th Feburary, 2014. Probably might contest for a position. Well, thinking....

Monday, Feb. 24th to Friday Feb. 28th, 2014.	9a.m. – 3pm daily	Screening of candidates
Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th March, 2014	2pm	Publication of List of cleared candidates
Friday 7th, Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th March, 2014	3pm – 7pm daily	Electioneering Campaign begins for House of Representatives, Senate and SUG Executives
Monday, 10th March, 2014	9am – 12noon	Accreditation followed by Elections into House of Rep and Senate, counting of votes and announcement of results
Tuesday, 11th March, 2014	12noon 1pm -3pm	Students and contestants seated. Manifesto for only SUG Executives
Wednesday, 12th March, 2014	9am – 12noon 1pm	Accreditation followed by Election of SUG Executives, counting of votes and announcement of Result
Thursday 13th and Friday 14th March, 2014	10am to 3:30pm daily	Filling of Appeals
