Does He Deserve a Second Chance?

                               troubled relationship
It’s hard to find a woman who has not been scorned, or to be a bit more blunt, screwed over by a man. It’s just as hard to find a woman who has not at some point “overlooked” this and given the same man a second chance. Second chances leave many of us shaking our heads and rolling our eyes in horror at the thought.
The thing is, everyone is different and not all mistakes are the same, so how do you decide if he deserves a second chance?

Rejection; Ways To Get Over It!

Rejection is perfectly normal, but the fear of rejection is not. If you haven’t been rejected in life, you haven’t interacted with people enough.

Almost all of us face rejection at some point of time in our lives. Sometimes, we are rejected for a job offer while other times we face a rejection in relationships. While most of us brush the rejection off and look out for newer opportunities, there are some people who cling to the rejection that came their way. These people simply refuse to accept the fact that they could be rejected in life. One rejection gives a way to the fear of rejection in future, which prevents the person from giving his best and subsequently results in rejection. Continue...

How Would You Like To Be Remembered?

About a hundred years ago, a man looked at the morning newspaper and to his surprise and horror, read his name in the obituary column. The news papers had reported the death of the wrong person by mistake. His first response was shock. Am I here or there? When he regained his composure, his second thought was to find out what people had said about him. The obituary read, "Dynamite King Dies." And also "He was the merchant of death." This man was the inventor of dynamite and when he read the words "merchant of death," he asked himself a question, "Is this how I am going to be remembered?" He got in touch with his feelings and decided that this was not the way he wanted to be remembered. From that day on, he started working toward peace. His name was Alfred Nobel and he is remembered today by the great Nobel Prize.

Just as Alfred Nobel got in touch with his feelings and redefined his values, we should step back and do the same.
*What is your legacy?
*How would you like to be remembered?
*Will you be spoken well of?
*Will you be remembered with love and respect?
*Will you be missed?

Inspairation: It Is The Little Things That Make A Big Difference

There was a man taking a morning walk at or the beach. He saw that along with the morning tide came hundreds of starfish and when the tide receded, they were left behind and with the morning sun rays, they would die. The tide was fresh and the starfish were alive. The man took a few steps, picked one and threw it into the water. He did that repeatedly. Right behind him there was another person who couldn't understand what this man was doing. He caught up with him and asked, "What are you doing? There are hundreds of starfish. How many can you help? What difference does it make?" This man did not reply, took two more steps, picked up another one, threw it into the water, and said, "It makes a difference to this one."

What difference are we making? Big or small, it does not matter. If everyone made a small difference, we'd end up with a big difference, wouldn't we?

Relationship Advice

By Isaac  Izontimi
Love has many moods. It can be full of passion and intense feelings or it can also mean pain and sacrifices. Love can make you jealous and mean at times; encourage you to achieve greater heights in life and so on and so forth. But other very important moods of love are also humor and fun. Without fun, love stories can get dull and boring and boring relationships leads to to frustrations and finally break-ups.
Hence, it is important that you leave some scope of fun and excitement in your love affairs. Doing crazy things in love will help in keeping the chemistry between  you and your loved one alive.

Is It Time to Walk Away?

                    images (16)
We live in a culture that promotes persistence. Phrases like “Winners never quit, and quitters never win” dominate our public discussion. So, is that true? Should you really continue to pour effort into situations, even when they seem hopeless? Should you stay in a relationship, just because it has gone on for a long time? Should you hold onto your job, just because of the amount of time you have been in it already?

Economists call the amount of time, money and effort that you have put into something in the past a “sunk cost”. That is, the time, money and effort is gone and you can’t get it back. So, economists argue that you should make decisions about whether to continue with something based only on whether a continued investment would lead to success and not based on the past.

Here’s a simple example. Imagine you hear about a great play at a local theater. You stand on line at the box office for an hour and pay a lot of money for good seats. You get to the show and the first act is horrible. The script is dull. The actors are lifeless. The jokes fall flat. Should you leave the show at intermission?

Many people will decide to stay to see the second act. They feel like if they leave at intermission, they will have wasted the time and money they spent.

But imagine that you were at the same play, only the tickets had been given to you the day before by a friend who had a conflict with the date and couldn’t go. Now you have less invested in staying, and you feel much more willing to leave.

The key idea is that if you would be willing to leave the play if you hadn’t paid any money or put any time into getting the tickets, then you should also leave even if you waited on line and paid a lot. The time and money that you put into getting the tickets is gone. You can’t get them back. So, why compound the problem by spending even more time there?

The economists may very well be right. University of Michigan psychologist Richard Nisbett, Ph.D. and his colleagues studied the behavior of college professors. He asked them lots of questions about their willingness to stop failing research projects after they had been working on those projects for a long time. The ones who stuck with long-term projects because of the past investment of time and effort were less successful than the ones who were willing to give up on research projects that were not going well.

The quitters were actually winning.

What does this mean for you?

Avoiding This One Important Thing May Save You From Hurting Yourself

Most people catch themselves frequently falling into the ever-alluring yet emotionally-dangerous trap of comparing themselves to others.

Web

According to social comparison theory, we do this in an attempt to make accurate evaluations of ourselves. But at what cost? While comparison can be a valuable source of motivation and growth, it can also spin us into a tail-chasing frenzy of self-doubt.
Here are three reasons why you should stop comparing yourself to others.

A Note To Heartbroken Ladies

You are here losing sleep over a guy who is probably sleeping just fine with another girl on his mind.

You are staring at your phone waiting for a text from a guy who’s probably having deep conversations with another girl.

You are posting subliminal statuses about a guy who is probably too busy paying attention to another girl’s page to read them.

You are crying over a dude who is probably making another girl smile right now.

If you are not the girl he gives his all to, then he is not the guy you should be stressing over.

It is high time you realised that you deserve better.

It is time you move on with your life.

Someone better is out there for you, but how would you know if you don’t let go of the one who is hurting you?

The Truth, My Lies...

One day all the employees reached the office and they saw a big advice on the door on which it was written:

"Yesterday the person who has been hindering your growth in this company passed away. We invite you to join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in the gym".

In the beginning, they all got sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while they started getting curious to know who was that man who hindered the growth of his colleagues and the company itself.

The excitement in the gym was such that security agents were ordered to control the crowd within the room. The more people reached the coffin, the more the excitement heated up.

Everyone thought: "Who is this guy who was hindering my progress? Well, at least he died!"

One by one the thrilled employees got closer to the coffin, and when they looked inside it they suddenly became speechless. They stood nearby the coffin, shocked and in silence, as if someone had touched the deepest part of their soul. There was a mirror inside the coffin: everyone who looked inside it could see himself.

There was also a sign next to the mirror that said:

"There is only one person who is capable to set limits to your growth: IT IS YOU. You are the only person who can revolutionize your life. You are the only person who can influence your happiness, your realization and your success. You are the only person who can help yourself."

Your life does not change when your boss changes, when your friends change, when your parents change, when your partner changes, when your company changes. Your life changes when YOU change, when you go beyond your limiting beliefs, when you realize that you are the only one responsible for your life.

The most important relationship you can have, is the one you have with yourself.

Examine yourself, watch yourself. Don't be afraid of difficulties, impossibilities and losses: be a winner, build yourself and your reality.

The world is like a mirror: it gives back to anyone the reflection of the thoughts in which one has strongly believed. The world and your reality are like mirrors laying in a coffin, which show to any individual the death of his divine capability to imagine and create his happiness and his success.

It's the way you face Life that makes the difference!

- If an egg is broken from outside force... life ends. If an egg is broken from inside force... life begins. Great things always begin from our inside...

How To Get What I Want?

How to get what I want? You've heard the expression, "What you see is what you get." My grandfather used to say: "If you look at a tree long enough, it will move." We see what you want to see.

Psychologists tell us that nothing controls our live more than our self-image. We live like the person we see in the mirror. We are what we think we are. If you don't think you'll see be successful, you won't. You can't be it if you can't see it. Your life is limited to your vision. If you want to change your life, you must change your vision of your life.

how to get what I want Arnold Schwarzenegger was not that famous in 1976 when he met with a newspaper reporter. The reporter asked Schwarzenegger."Now that you've retired from bodybuilding, what do you plan to do next?"

Schwarzenegger answered very calmly and confidently: " I'm going to be the #1 movie star in Hollywood."

The report wad shocked and amused at Schwarzenegger's plan. At that time, it was very hard to imagine how this muscle-bound body builder, who was not a professional actor and who spoke poor English with a strong Austrian accent, could ever hope to be Hollywood's #1 movie star!

So the reporter asked Schwarzenegger how he planed make his dream come true, Schwarzenegger said: " I" ll do it the same way I became the #1 body builder in the world. What I do was to create a vision of who I want to be, then I start living like that person in my mind as if it were already true." Sounds almost childishly simple, doesn't it? But it worked! Schwarzenegger DID become the #1 highest paid movie star in Hollywood! Remember: " If you can see it, you can be it."

A successful businessman I know wears a shirt with these words on it. "Don't just pursue your dreams. Chase them down and tackle them!" You only get one life to live, so why not live the best life possible? So you can be fully satisfied at what you see and get. Just think a minute!

One Year To Live

Anthony Burgess

Anthony Burgess was 40 when he learned that he had only one year to live. He had a brain tumor that would kill him within a year. He know he had a battle on his hands. He was completely broke at the time, and he didn't have anything to leave behind for his wife, Lynne, soon to be a window.

Burgess had never been a professional novelist in the past, but he always knew the potential was inside him to be a writer. So, for the sole purpose of leaving royalties behind for his wife, he put a piece of paper into a typewriter and began writing. He had no certainty that he would even be published, but he couldn't think of anything else to do.

"It was January of 1960," he said, "and according to the prognosis, I had a winter and spring and summer to live through, and would die with the fail of the leaf."
In that time Burgess wrote energetically, finishing five and a half novels before the year was through (very nearly the entire lifetime output of E.M. Forster, and almost twice that of J. D. Salinger.)

But Burgess did not die. His cancer had gone into remission and then disappeared altogether. In his long and full life as a novelist ( he is best known for A Clock-work Orange), he wrote more than 70 books, but without the death sentence from cancer, he may not have written at all.

Many of us are like Anthony Burgess, hiding greatness inside, waiting for some external emergency to bring it out. Ask yourself what you'd do if you had Anthony Burgess's original predicament. " If I had just a year to live, how would I live differently? What exactly would I do?"
