Miss Madamedon Endurance gained admission into the Department of Agricultural Education, Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka with matriculation number FOE/08/09/152571 through direct entry after completing a diploma course in Agricultural Economics from the University of Benin (UNIBEN).
She graduated with the 2011/12 set, but
up-till now she is yet to be mobilized for the compulsory National Youth
Service Corps (NYSC) programme by the institution. This development has prompted the lady
to sue the institution to the Delta State High court to demand her
rights, claiming over N12 million in damages and also praying the court
to compel the school to mobilize her for national service.
When contacted, the PRO of DELSU, Mr Edward Agbure said that he will check with the legal unit of the school to confirm the receipt of the court notice.
