KSU Lecturer Admits Being A Member Of Boko Haram

                                 
The Kogi State University, KSU lecturer who was arrested for terrorism by the State Security Service has admitted being a member of the Boko Haram sect. Dr. Muhammed Yunus, confessed that he and his co-accused were planning a Jihad in Igala area of Kogi State before they were arrested.

The lecturer and two other accused persons, Salami Abdullahi (aka Asta) and Musa Umar are facing terrorism charges which includes being in possession of two AK47 rifles and financing terrorism. They were also said to have allegedly attended a meeting convened by the Boko Haram in Ayungba, Kogi State and recruited people for training as members of the sect.

However, the accused is praying the court to strike out the case against them. Justice Kolawole adjourned till June 24 for ruling.
