On Friday, offices at the Nsukka campus and the Enugu campus of
the University of Nigeria were closed down as
the staffs came out
to protest for the removal of the vice chancellor and the
reinstatement of the Chairman of the governing council , Dr. Emeka
Enejere.
Interviewing one of the lecturers , He said that the Univeristy is owing
them their earned allowances which have been paid to staff in other
Federal universities in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the FG yesterday appointed Mr Emmanuel Chukwuka Uluka (SAN) as the new chairman of the governing council of the University of Nigeria . See photos after the cut...
