AAUA Students Protest Killing Of Colleague By Hit & Run Driver

                               
Aggrieved students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko AAUA have protested the death of one of their colleague who was killed by a driver of a Toyota Corolla car who was alleged to have taken off immediately.However, the Police PRO, Wole Ogodo, said the driver reported himself at the Police station and that he and the car are in their custody.

Though the details of the incident is unclear at this time, the University authority has clarified the situation and the student’s nerves have been calmed. According to the statement from the management, the corpse of the deceased has been released to the parents and had since been buried.

“The university expresses deep condolences to the family of the deceased, the students body and the entire university community on the unfortunate loss of the promising young man. “The university would like to appeal to all students to go about their normal academic activities as peace has now returned to the campus.” Normalcy have returned to the school as policemen have been deployed to maintain peace.
